Port Everglades, Fort Lauderdale, Florida... Let the Caribbean Season Begin!!!!

And so, the Canada & New England season is officially over for us…  Today, we begin the Caribbean season, and a fun season it will be.  Today, after achieving our (silly) zero count on the ship, I headed to the Retreat and that was pretty much my day.  We have a great guy, Andrew, running things up there and it will be great.  Now, if they could just get rid of some of that excess furniture and make it less crowded, it would be perfect.  I spent the day there, even running into some old friends from my Cabana days on the Koningsdam in 2017, Corinna & Fred from the Netherlands.  The day went well, went out and took photos as we sailed away with whistles blaring as we officially opened the Caribbean season.  The excitement was short live however, a little over an hour later, the captain announced we were turning back for a medical emergency, praying that whomever it is, will be ok… Looking forward to a day at sea tomorrow! Note: Just noticed that the photos uploaded in reverse order, I don't really care so there...  :-)
