Grand Turk, Turks & Caicos...

This morning we arrived at Grand Turk just before 8:00, it was a beautiful island with weather that left a lot to be desired….  We had good fortune as the weather shaped up nicely and we had a hot, sunny day.  I got off the ship first thing, went for a walkabout snapping photos along the way…  I also tried to do a little shopping, but nothing grabbed my attention…  we do come back, so another opportunity awaits!  After a nice visit, it was time to soak up some of that great sunshine back on the Nieuw Statendam…  around 11:00 we had company, the Carnival Spirit joined us at the pier.  It was just a stellar day up until we departed where you could see squalls in our future as we sailed away…  Wonderful day, the tan is back after my wonderful 4 weeks in Canada…  Tomorrow, we arrive into the port of San Juan around 1:00 in the afternoon.  Not quite sure what I’ll do….
