Well, St Maarten was a wonderful relief from the two days at sea
with very high winds and rough seas….
The sail in this morning was still very windy and we were hit with
showers…. It was nice to see St Maarten
again, first time since the devastating hurricane hit last year. They is still a lot of visible damage in just
the small part of the island I saw, I believe they have a long way to go…. I walked into town, did some shopping, took
some photos and did a lot of walking….
The day was nice and sunny with showers that seem to keep coming…. There were five ships in today, including the
Queen Mary 2…. Had a very nice day, still loving my residency aboard the ms Zuiderdam….
