Another day in paradise... I was out and about for a
lovely sail into Amber Cove this morning. The ladies and I met early to get off
and tour the Amber Cove complex do shopping and get some Wi-Fi. Amber Cove is a
lovely complex built by Carnival Corporation and featuring restaurants, bars, ,
an activity center, huge pools and cabanas. For people who don’t want to
venture out to Puerto Plata or do an EXC excursion, this is the perfect place
for a relaxing day… Again, the weather
was magnificent for our stroll around the Amber Cove cruise port. After a couple
of hours, we returned to the ship by late morning for some pool time…. The rest of the day was spent relaxing in the
sun and getting in some walking… I
continue to be amazed how the ship’s officers’ line up to greet us as we depart
the ship in the morning and later in the day, as we return…. Speaks volumes on how much guest appreciation
and satisfaction mean to them…..
