When I went out early this morning to take photos as we sailed into Grand Turk, I was greeted with some very angry skies… Things were definitely not looking good for the bright, sunny day I was expecting. The clouds themselves, presented some interesting photo opportunities… Some of them looked like they could pop a waterspout as any moment… In my mind, I was thinking of alternate plans for what looked to be a rather dreary day. As we got closer to the dock, the skies in some areas appeared to be improving a bit. After docking and receiving clearance from the local authorities, Cathy & I went ashore to get in a bit of a walk, do some shopping and snap photos… Once we got ashore, it didn’t take long for the skies to start pouring down rain… It was torrential! This gave us an opportunity to stay in the shops and buy some necessities like tank tops and caps… Once the rains were done, the skies cleared, and the rest of the day was brilliant… It was back to the ship and relaxing in the sun for the rest of the day. We also started some trip planning for some future adventures…
