Fort Lauderdale, Florida....

A beautiful day today in Fort Lauderdale... Loving this great weather!!!   It was turnaround day and things went pretty smoothly. It was nice to see since last week’s turnaround was a bit of a trainwreck.  Nothing like Guests hiding and not getting off the ship to hold things up.  Today, we were in port all by ourselves. Seemed strange not having a few more ships in port.  After clearing Immigration formalities, we spent the day and sail away in the Retreat. It seems really strange in the Retreat today after our newfound friends from Pittston Pennsylvania are not around anymore…  we really miss them!  Off on another 10-day Caribbean adventure, heading to the Bahamas, Aruba, Curacao, Bonaire, Amber Cove and Grand Turk.  Great itinerary.  This will be our final voyage on the Rotterdam (for now), we switch to the Nieuw Statendam on the 18^th.
