Fort Lauderdale, Florida...

Nice day today in Fort Lauderdale... Loving this great weather.  It was turnaround day and things went pretty smoothly. Today, we were in port with the Eurodam, the only two ships in and both from the Holland America fleet. After clearing Immigration formalities, we spent the day and sail away in the Retreat. Off on another 10-day Caribbean adventure, heading to the Bahamas, Grand Turk, Amber Cove, Bonaire, Curacao and Aruba…. Great itinerary.  In closing, we were shocked and saddened to learn of our dear friend Gene Moimoi Young’s sudden passing. Gene was a great guy, good friend and our former Cruise Director. We had sailed many days with Gene, he was the best!!! Our thoughts are with Gene’s family at this very difficult time.  You’ll be missed my friend….
