Fort Lauderdale, Florida....

A not so lovey turnaround day in Fort Lauderdale with rain and gale force winds…a nasty day for sure. It was nice to see three ships (Rotterdam, Zaandam and the Nieuw Statendam) from the Holland America fleet in port together. With the weather today, I took the opportunity to update some APPs in the cruise terminal (the Wi-Fi speed in the terminal was incredibly fast). Michael Smith the Senior Vice President of Guest Experience and Product Development at Holland America Line was visiting the Rotterdam today and a chance meeting, we had a nice conversation. It was blowing a gale but did brave the winds to take sail away photos. Anchors away, we are off on another 11-day Caribbean cruise…
