Charlotte Amalie, Saint Thomas, USVI

I was out on deck for our sail into Charlotte Amalie, Saint Thomas, USVI…it is always a nice sail into this lovely island. The ship was docked at Havensite, a close walk to downtown. The three of us headed to downtown just before 8 am…the weather was excellent for our scenic walk along the harbor front. Being an early Sunday morning, it was very quiet downtown. We toured around the downtown area and went back to Havensite Mall, stopped in a few shops and returned to the ship. The ladies went to get pedicures on shore, and I spent the rest of the afternoon in the Retreat. Today, we had a slight breeze, a few clouds and no rain…an absolutely gorgeous day in St. Thomas. I took the opportunity to head to the outer decks for our sail away, just gorgeous! It is Super Bowl Sunday, and the ship is preparing for a party evening showing the game in two venues tonight.
