I decided fairly early today to stay on the ship for the most part. I got off the ship early this morning and when they told me I couldn’t walk out of the pier area I decided not to go anywhere. I stayed onshore for a little while using WiFi and a bit of shopping and returned to the ship. I spent pretty much the whole day poolside… The weather was magnificent!
Hi Jeff, Wishing you a Happy New Year filled with many warm, sunny days and new adventures. Photos have been wonderful-especially liked the leopard and your underwater adventures. So glad your leg injuries haven't upset your plans. Enjoy your "spruced-up" home and the World Cruise. We're bracing for a blast of cold air from Canada! BVH-Groton, Ct
ReplyDeleteHAL used to stop at Puntarenas a short distance across the Bay to the north..Princess & Celebrity stop there these days.. last time we were on the Statendam back in January we stopped in Puerto Caldera..did a pretty decent ship's excursion to a local Wildlife Refuge National Park just down the coast along a river..plenty of wildlife..birds.. monkeys.. crocs.. good pic taking ops.. had to get away from that container /commercial port area... only thing worth watching there were the fishermen on the jetty and a bunch of surfers to the left of the jetty and birds diving..
