Day 10 Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (Part 1 of 2)

Today was a day for 3 fellow travelers on the Grand Pacific & Far East Voyage to get together and explore a different side of Puerto Vallarta….  Our friend from the voyage Angela, has lived in Puerto Vallarta for many years.  She agree to take Fred & I around for the day.  We started our traveling through villages around the countryside to see some of “real” Mexico rather than the artificial atmosphere that beach resorts create.  It was wonderful seeing these villages and scenic view points.  We even stopped at a taco stand that had probably the best tacos that you could get.  It was delicious!  After several hours of touring around we headed for the Vallarta Botanical Gardens.  The gardens were magnificent!  They are certainly worth a look if you are looking for something different to do in Puerto Vallarta.  Angela did an outstanding job of showing Fred & I a different side of this part of Mexico.  Mucho Gracias Angela!!!  Once again my blog requires two postings… enjoy!
