Up early and out on the forward deck for sail-in photos and approach to Sydney Harbor. It was a lovely morning for the cruise into Sydney. Our friend Laura picked us up for a tour of the area. On the lookout for lighthouses, we headed to Baddeck. Baddeck is a picturesque, vibrant little village right in the heart of Nova Scotia’s Cape Breton Island and set on the shores of the Bras d’Or Lakes. The weather turned out to be a clear beautiful sunny day climbing Kelly’s Mountain on the Cabot Trail. The trail in the Baddeck area takes you along the beautiful Bras d’Or Lakes where we enjoyed some spectacular scenery. We explored the village the former home to scientist and telephone inventor Alexander Graham Bell. We returned to Sydney and thanked Laura for another great day in Cape Breton. Once back on the ship, I began working on my blog and somewhere in the process, the majority of my photos disappeared. Once the problem occurred, it was too late to recover, I had already formatted my Camera SD card… Oh well, less work to do my posting. It was a spectacular day in Cape Breton with our wonderful friend Laura…
