Puerto Vallarta, Mexico...

Cathy and I left the ship early, made our way to the Puerto Vallarta Malecon for some walking and site seeing. We had a pleasant surprise this morning as we got there just in time to see the Papantia Flyers do their thing…  The Papantla Flyers is a prehispanic tradition used to invoke water during extended dry seasons. In which the brave men falling symbolized the fall of raindrops from the sky in the helping the earth’s fertility.  Nice start to the day… Today, we were on a mission to find some new wall art by Puerto Vallarta artists so we took some different routes. After having a lovely walk through the city, we returned to the ship.   Then, the ladies went shopping at the mall while Mike and I spent the another spectacular afternoon in the Retreat.
