Mazatlán, Mexico...

This morning there was smoky hazy sky for the sail in photos. Being creatures of habit, Cathy and I walked to the Machado Square in old town via the Blue Line. We walked some streets surrounding the square before meeting our Pulmonia driver Martin. Making our way to the Malecon, I was able to see the local fishermen bringing in their daily catch. We toured the new modern area of Mazatlán known as the Golden Zone. The Golden Zone follows the Pacific coast for many miles. We went as far as the International Convention Center to see the beautiful Mosaic Mural. We returned to cruise terminal, did some system updates and made our way back to the ship. I spent the afternoon in the Retreat…it was a beautiful day.
