Today was the smoothest disembarkation since sailing into San Diego this year….that was good thing because I was still fuming from the incident that happened in the Queens Lounge last evening regarding health and safety concerns. Someone decided, in a packed room of people without masks to fill in all available spaces with people in folding chairs, one in front of me so close I wouldn’t be able to get out of my chair. To make it worse, another chair was put right up against the side of my chair. Any possible exits were blocked making it a hazard under the best of times. The last thing I needed in a pandemic is to be locked, shoulder to shoulder in a room filled with unmasked people. I left the show lounge just fuming… This morning, Cathy and I left the ship and walked the San Diego Embarcadero. The Embarcadero is located adjacent to Downtown San Diego along the Big Bay, San Diego's Embarcadero is a testament to the region's colorful maritime history complete with historic ships, museums and harbor tours, as well as a working fishing harbor, cruise ship terminal and plenty of hotels, restaurants and shops. It was another spectacular day weather wise. Here we are another sail away….off to the Mexican Rivera. Nice day but still fuming….
I assume you'll complain to someone. Let us know how it turns out.
ReplyDeleteYes, absolutely, totally unacceptable in our Covid world. I would have felt completely trapped. Trust you were a very squeaky wheel .......
