Today we finished up our first voyage…. It was sad to say goodbye to Toya & Bob but I’m sure we’ll meet up again. Holland America Line received top marks from me for the cruise we just completed…. Certainly a job well done, especially after being on a 19 month hiatus… Today, the Scott sisters, Ann & Cathy arrived. They will now be sailing until April 17th . It’s great seeing them, haven’t seen them since we had to leave the Volendam in March of 2020. The process of going through CBPO was pretty lengthy, amazing how government can slow things down. Most of my day was spent walking and relaxing in the Retreat…. It will be a fun experience sailing with the “Sisters” again…. We now have a day at sea as we sail to our next port of call, Cabo San Lucas…
1st cruise in the books! Congratulations and hooray! So glad things seem to be progressing back to normal somewhat, safe travels the rest of the way.
