Rotterdam 2024, Fort Lauderdale...

Well, we’re off and running again…  After an amazing 113 day aboard the Zaandam, it was time to say goodbye to our Zaandam family.  They were just the best!!!  Now, we have boarded the Rotterdam, back to where we were last January…  The boarding today was amazing!!!  THE STAFF ON THE Rotterdam made to embarkation very smooth….  Special thanks to Roxy, the Event & Group Coordinator!  She was amazing…  We have now departed Fort Lauderdale and have a couple of days at sea as we make our way to Curacao.  We will hit the Panama Canal on this voyage, and I am excited because I understand we will be going through the Agua Clara Lock, the new lock at Gatun Lake.  I haven’t been through this lock, only have seen it from a helicopter tour I did in 2018 from coast to coast by air.  Our friends Diane & Gloria have also joined the Rotterdam, so we look forward to spending some more time with them…  This should be a nice relaxing 63 days in the Caribbean as we rest up for our transit to the Mediterranean in April…  Loving being back on the Rotterdam but really miss my Zaandam family…
