Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, U.S.V.I.

No early morning sail-in as it was a late arrival today… Our estimated arrival was 10am but by the time the formalities were completed it was closer to 11am before Cathy and I headed to town. We enjoyed the walk to downtown along the refurbished waterfront promenade. We did not linger in town too long, visited a shop and bought some bathing suits, snapped some photos and returned to the ship. I spent the afternoon in the Retreat while Cathy went back out for a little retail therapy. It was the nicest day we have had since leaving the cold in Fort Lauderdale…It was an absolutely gorgeous day in St. Thomas, so nice in fact that I stayed longer than usual….  What a wonderful day!!!
