San Juan, Puerto Rico....

It was dreary indeed as we approached Puerto Rico….  The skies opened up and just drenched us when we were about 6 miles out.  A miracle happened and the rains stopped just as we approached the coast with Castillo San Felipe Del Morro fortress on the right and Fortress San Cristobal on the left….  The views were just spectacular!  Since I took a gazillion photos at sail in and with the threat of storms still with us, I decided to cancel my plans to walk to both forts and instead, went into the old town for some photos and shopping.  Had a wonderful time in the old town and returned to the ship later in the afternoon to shower, change and head back out for dinner.  Ann & I had a wonderful dinner with some great friends and had just a fabulous evening….  Then it was time to head back to the ship and work on the blog….
