Zaandam Holiday Voyage, Fort Lauderdale, Florida...

Today marked the end of out Grand South America & Antarctica Voyage and grand it was!  Compliments to Captain Arne Smit and Hotel General Manager Florin Dragomir for providing outstanding leadership that made everything just come together the way a Grand Voyage should…  We will feel such a loss with them off on their well-deserved vacations…  So, today we said goodbye to them and welcomed aboard Captain Michiel Willems and Hotel General Manager Darren Lewis.  I haven’t seen Darren since my 8 ½ months onboard the Zuiderdam back in 2018/19. To this day, it remains as one of my best voyages ever!  Today, Ann, Cathy and I got off the ship at 8:00 am and were picked up by our dear friend Laura….  We were off to get our updated COVID vaccination and a bit of shopping here and there…  Once back on the ship, it was out on the open decks for some sunshine…  It turned out to be a lovely day.  The sail away was nice, there was a pretty big turnout by the guests.  So, here is our itinerary for this 16-day Holiday Cruise…
