Grand South America & Antarctica Voyage, Scarborough, Tobago, Trinidad & Tobago

I was out on the outside decks early this morning for the sail into Tobago….it was a slow go as the pilot was late delaying, the works. The approach to the island was scenic and the rainbows were outstanding. Of course, that meant we also had a bit of rain…  This was a sigh that it was just going to be one of those days where you just have to live with occasional showers.  Once we docked, Ann, Cathy and I were off the ship to the sound of steel drums before exploring downtown Scarborough.  We walked along the waterfront to the “I Love Tobago” sign; a sign that was erected in 2020 to commemorate COVID-19. We then headed to the Botanical Gardens catching some wall art along the way. We toured the gardens and decided to head back downtown as it was raining.  Luckily, we got back to the ship before the thunderstorm and rain. Back on the ship we spent the rest of the day dodging rainstorms and enjoying talking with fellow passengers. Another great day!!!!
