Well… Today was a pretty interesting day! We arrived at Puerto Vallarta early this morning and we had no plans of going ashore. We’ve been here many times and the current spread of Omicron made us decide to play it safe. So, a day relaxing in the Retreat was in store for us. We had a bit of a disruption in our day, Ann wasn’t feeling well and because we had contact with a friend of ours who tested positive for COVID yesterday and went off to quarantine, we decided that the best thing was for Ann to return to her cabin and call Medical. Next thing you know, we were all getting tested again. So far, all is good, we all tested negative but Ann is in quarantine for 24 hours for observation and retesting tomorrow. If she tests positive, then they will be retesting Cathy & I again…. The joys of cruising during a pandemic. I did manage to haul out the camera for our lovely sail away from Puerto Vallarta on our way to Huatulco. Beautiful day!

ReplyDeleteJeff, some of us have been saying a prayer here and there for you during this cruise. But at this point, I think I might have to pull out the whole rosary for the three of you. All kidding aside, our wishes and prayers are with you, Ann & Cathy.
