It was a different kind of day today in Curacao…. Aart & Ellen weren’t here to visit, takes a lot of joy out of coming here. They flew back to Holland yesterday, for a week, to have medical tests done to check on how Aart is doing…. Hopefully all tests will be good so we can see them again very soon. I went out for a walk and snapped some photos early this morning. It’s still so nice to have the senior officers lined up greeting us as we depart the ship in the morning… I never get tired of that! After getting some good walking in, it was back to the ship, to the Retreat for a relaxing day of sunshine and reading… Ian & I dined in Rudi’s Sel de Mer this evening, another spectacular dinner…. I could swear Rudi himself was in the kitchen… Loving every day on the Zuiderdam….

Cathy has the right idea about escaping the winter weather. Thankfully, we didn't get much from yesterday's storm. Trying to get the last details of our 3 week Alaskan cruise the end of May done.
