So, another early morning schedule for
the Panama Canal…. We passed the
breakwaters around 0500 and entered the Gatun Lake locks around 0630…. I tried to spend more time in the Retreat
than usual, combining my walks with photo opportunities… It worked pretty well for me, took half the
photos and spent more time relaxing which is my primary motivation… It was a beautiful day to do the canal, hot
sunny weather…. We arrived into the port of Colon around 1500... Tonight, we have been
invited by Captain Bart Varrtjes and Hotel Director Darren Lewis for Tapas
& Wine in the Retreat, should be a wonderful evening…..
