It
was an extraordinarily windy day today….
The Retreat was just not in the cards….
Ian & I made ourselves at home on the Lido deck, out of the wind and
did some reading as we sailed toward Aruba.
As we approached Aruba, I went out on the forward decks to take some
photos…. It was really, really windy,
the ship even had to abort it’s first attempt at docking because the winds were
above threshold. On the second pass, the
winds moderated and we successfully docked.
Ian & I both went out, did some walking and snapped some photos. Ian settled in at Starbucks for some coffee
and Wi-Fi while I continued with some photography. We headed back to the ship early in the day
to prepare for out VIP visitor, Dennis Stolte who was joining us for
dinner. It was a fun evening, great to
see Dennis again. I couldn’t believe how
many he knows on the ship. We look forward to seeing here again on March 2nd when Ann & Cathy will be here.... Great day!!!!
