Koningsdam adventure, Mazatlán, Mexico...

I was up very, very for the sail into Mazatlán…  Always lovely scenery!  Cathy and I walked the Blue Line to Machado Square. From the Square, we explored some streets surrounding the square and went to the waterfront Malecon before making our way to the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. After visiting the Basilica, we walked to the Mercado Suarez market to take in some local everyday life. Since it was Christmas Eve, many shoppers were out early getting last minute supplies and shopping for the holiday festivities. We walked back to the Machado Square. We again met our friend Martin, the Pulmonia driver and he drove us back to the cruise port. We spent some time in the Retreat taking in the pleasant weather. Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas…
