Lovely day in Fort Lauderdale…the zero-balance clearance today was a bit of a sham as we cleared Immigration yesterday in Key West…this morning we were trucked to the Customs Hall to be processed by CBP…much to the surprise of Shore Operations and CBP. It just involved walking in a big circle and then sitting in a hot room packed with people… The joys of sailing back-to-back cruises. This week the ship will sailing 2400 passengers… That is by far the largest number that we have sailed with since this adventure began way back in October… the majority of passengers are not wearing masks so let the spread begin…. Can’t wait to see how far the cigarette smoke will spread throughout the ship this week with the much larger numbers of Guests onboard…. So disappointed in that decision to open up the Casino to Smoking…. ruined, in large part, the comfort of sailing on the Rotterdam….
