2025 Volendam, Halifax, Nova Scotia...

Today was a day to relax…  Apparently, Holland America drew the short straw and we wee at anchor all day.  Three other ships were in and were docked.  I decided that I really didn’t need to tender into Halifax so…  I didn’t!!!  I was actually still in bed when the first tender left.  Once I got up, I went for breakfast and relaxed on the Lido deck for the day.  I brought my camera up so I was snapping photos as the day progressed.  I also went out on the forward decks and took photos as we sailed away.  For having a relaxing day, I sure took enough photos.  I just can’t help it, so much scenic beauty everywhere you turn…  We also welcomed our wonderful friend Florin Dragomir onboard, our new Hotel General Manager while saying goodbye to Glenn Cowley as he heads off for a well-deserved vacation with his family…  Life is good on the Volendam!
