Here we are, back in San Diego… The plan for the day, getting off the ship early and have a nice walkabout in San Diego. Upon disembarking from the cruise ship, I began my day by heading south along the San Diego waterfront, where the historic ships proudly display the city’s maritime heritage. As I strolled past these magnificent vessels, their impressive silhouettes evoke a sense of nostalgia and adventure. After reaching a picturesque spot, I turned around and made my way backtracking where I came from, back toward the ship. My destination was the Seaport Village with its delightful shops and lively atmosphere. The combination of stunning harbor views, magnificent reflections and the gentle ocean breezes made for a refreshing 7ish mile walk. Another memorable experience in this beautiful coastal city. Once I returned to the ship, it was time to catch some rays on this beautiful day… Once I finished in the sun, I went in, worked on the blog for an hour or so and prepared for the sail away… Sailing away from San Diego is always incredible and today was just that… Tomorrow, I’m back in Avalon, Catalina Island… time for another walkabout…
