Cabo San Lucas, with its stunning beaches and azure waters framed by rugged cliffs, offers a picturesque paradise that captivates all who visit. I’ve been looking forward to this port because a dear friend from back in my Elementary School days in Hawaii lives here. Diana moved here 12 years ago and just loves it. Cabo just has a magical atmosphere, making it a perfect retreat for relaxation and adventure. This coastal gem has become a welcoming haven for expats, who, like Diana, find a sense of community and connection amidst the breathtaking scenery. With a rich blend of culture, outdoor activities, and a laid-back lifestyle, Cabo San Lucas truly embodies the allure of modern living in a tropical paradise. When I got off the ship (in the wee hours), I first went for a walkabout in the port area while I waited for Diana. She picked me up and a wonderful day of visiting with my dear friend began… We were all over the place, doing a bit of shopping and stopping for some local treats... We first stopped at Cascades, a Resort with a beach front restaurant for some drinks and guacamole & salsa with taco chips… Yummy! Later in the day, after our shopping was done, we stopped at a wonderful Taco Place off the highway called, Asi y Asada. The tacos are just amazing!!! I had my first ever fish taco along with one called barbeque… I was so stuffed when we were done, I’m thinking that I will skip dinner… Once back on the ship, relaxed in the sun and did a bit of reading… What a wonderful day!!! Thanks Diana…
