Koningsdam adventure, Mazatlán, Mexico...

I was up early this morning for the sail into Mazatlán only to discover that we were already alongside…  We had to get in ahead of the Norwegian Bliss.  My plan was to go ashore and have a nice walk and capture some photos.  My standard approach for this is to walk the Blue Line.  Walking the Blue Line in Mazatlán offers a scenic coastal route adorned with vibrant murals and picturesque views of the Pacific Ocean. I first came to the Angela Peralta Theater which is near the Machado Square.  I stopped in a restaurant for refreshments and made my way toward the Cathedral. The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, with its stunning neoclassical architecture and golden domes, stands as a historical and spiritual landmark in the heart of the city. In front of the Cathedral is the City Hall and Republica Square.  Then it was off to see the markets…  A visit to the Beneto Juárez Mercado immerses you in local culture, where the bustling market comes alive with colorful stalls selling fresh produce, handcrafted goods, and delicious street food, making it a must-see destination for any traveler… After having a nice walk of 5 miles, I returned to the Koningsdam to enjoy a bit of sunshine.  It was another fabulous day!
