Windy day!!! It was a fierce wind most of the day today…. It’s not unusual to have a pretty good wind
as you sail to Aruba, today was definitely one of those days. We safely made it to Oranjestad around 1:00
in the afternoon. Once we were cleared,
I went ashore, got a nice walk in and snapped a bunch of photos, just love
those iguanas! At some point I made my
way to Starbucks and met up with Ian, Ann & Cathy. After they had their fill of Wi-Fi, we
slowly made our way back to the ship, shopping along the way. Our good friend Dennis Stolte, was coming for
dinner and we were excited to see him…..
Dennis is in Aruba for a six-month internship. I’m sure his Mom & Dad are very proud of
this very dedicated young man…. We had a
lovely dinner and a wonderful visit with Dennis…. We look forward to seeing Dennis whenever he
wants to come for a visit. Great day!!!!
