Day 22 Moab, Utah...
Today Brad & I decided to do something different today in Moab.... Instead of going to a National Park we took a scenic drive. We took the Scenic Byway 128, the "Riverway" along the Colorado River to Castle Valley where we took the La Sal Mountain Loop. The scenery was beautiful, as usual, and the drive very refreshing... It was beautiful up in the mountains where the fall colors were coming out. Once back at the hotel, it was time to relax a bit poolside... I don't want to totally lose my tan. Can you tell from my photos where I decided to become artistic and turn one into a sketch? Very cool.... Tomorrow we head for beautiful Colorado and the Colorado National Monument and the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park... busy day ahead!

Hi Jeff,
ReplyDeleteIts your new blog followers from NJ. (We were talking to you in Grand Canyon and Lake Powell, the six of us). Saw the posted pic of you that my sister-in-law took with your camera at Rainbow Bridge in Lake Powell. What beautiful pictures you have taken. Enjoy the rest of your trip! We are looking forward to seeing the rest of your pictures.
(Let's see if second time is the charm).
ReplyDeleteColorful Colorado should be just that ... the aspen are turning even at lower elevations. Have a great drive.
