Day 14 Zion National Park

This morning Brad & I took the less traveled road and went to Kolob Canyon, a section of Zion that is about an hour north of here.  We stopped along the way taking photos of the scenery.  Kolob Canyon was very dramatic, like the rest of Zion but on a much smaller scale.  The scenic drive is only 5 miles long.  Once we ran out of things to see and experience, we headed back to the main park.  Once again we were awed by the grandeur of our surroundings.  Brad & I took a couple of hikes in the park today which were great.  The 1 1/2 mile one that we took knowing that a thunderstorm was coming was great.  Yes, we did get wet!  It was another grand day!  Tomorrow, we head to Cedar Breaks, with a final destination of Bryce Canyon.  Going to be great!!!!

  1. You messin' with snakes again or using a VERY long telephoto? We want you to stay alive so we can keep getting these great reports. I'm jealous you got to see Kolob Canyon. I tried in January, but the road was closed due to snow.
