Volendam 2026, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada...

Today, we visited Charlottetown, PEI.  It’s always special to visit PEI, the birthplace of my grandfather.  Today, I decided to take a day of rest, I have to listen to my body sometimes.   Charlottetown, the capital of Prince Edward Island, is a charming waterfront city filled with historic buildings, colorful streets, and maritime character. Known as the “Birthplace of Confederation,” it offers beautiful parks, lively shops, and a lot of photo opportunities. One of the highlights for me today was the arrival of one of my favorite ships, the ms Zuiderdam.  I spent the day relaxing, reading and even caught a nap. Going back to the Pinnacle Grill tonight with my friends Mike & Pauline Hall, anxious to have those spectacular lobster dishes from the other night…  Loving my time on the Volendam!
