This morning we had the Mariners get-together before we started scenic cruising. The ship left the Pacific Ocean and we continued our scenic cruising through the Chilean Fjords entering Darwin Bay to the Darwin Channel. The Darwin Channel is a remote waterway in Chilean Patagonia. Part of a vast network of fjords, glaciers, and islands, it's located within the Alberto de Agostini National Park. Named after Charles Darwin, this region has dramatic landscapes of snow-capped mountains and dense forests. Due to its remote nature, there are no traditional ports or towns here. The ship navigated the narrow channels, offering close-up views of wildlife on our way to Puerto Montt. The weather was constantly changing, mostly with overcast skies and a bit of rain from time to time. It was a nice scenic cruising, as usual for the Chilean fjords.
