Grand South America & Antarctica Voyage, More scenic cruising of the Chilean Fjords...

The weather after leaving the El Brujo glacier was pretty nasty for most of the day, extremely windy and rainy…actually it was miserable, but I persevered. My photos certainly tell the story of the weather of this the day. The views in all directions as we moved along the narrow and deep channels were stunning. We sailed south along the Pitts Channel into the Sarmiento Channel leading to Smyth Channel a principal Patagonia channel and the south arm continuation of the Sarmiento Channel. Following the Messier Channel, we passed the wreck of the SS Santa Leonor. It was a day of constant dressing in rain clothes and undressing to keep up with the scenery and photo opportunities. We are making our way to Punta Arenas arriving tomorrow for our last stop in Chile…  What a great day!!!!
