Huatulco, Mexico...

We had an event packed day which began with the high Mariners recognition get-together early this morning.  It was a very nice reception, great to see Captain Friso and our fellow Mariners.  The remainder of the morning was spent in the Retreat enjoying the sun and having lunch while capturing sail in photos. We had a nice reception with lots of dolphins alongside...  It was a late arrival in Huatulco due to high winds and a strong current. Ann, Cathy and I left the ship as soon as it was cleared. We strolled along the pier to the marina, looked around town and returned to the ship…a short visit but it was nice to get off the ship even though it was very hot, close to 100 degrees with the heat index…wearing the mask makes the heat seem worse. On our return to the ship, we spent the remainder of the day in the Retreat. Another great day on the Zuiderdam….
