We continue in the Manning Markets where part 2 left off….. From there we finished off the day in the Pettah area, shopping and taking in the sights. We took a Tuk Tuk back from the Pettah area to the port. Ian & Carole headed back to the shopping area dockside and Ann, Cathy & I decided to explore the Buddhist temple that is near the port in the shape of a big stupa way up high. It was a pretty good climb to the top but the views and the temple were worth the effort. Then it was dockside shopping for us as well as we finished up our day. The sail away was nice and the sinking sun gave us some spectacular colors…. Great day!!!!
