Had a great day exploring Hong Kong with Ann, Cathy, Ian & Carole…. The sail into Hong Kong harbor was a bit disappointing with all the overcast and foggy weather but it was nice all the same. We left the ship early and made our way via ferry, train, bus and boat to Lantau island. Out first stop was at the old fishing village of Tai O. A wonderful place to visit. Then we headed out to the Po Lin Monastery and the big Buddha. We had a wonderful day! After returning to the ship, we got refreshed and hooked up with my friends Bill & Barbara Mason and headed off to the night market. What a great day. This is part one of the blog today…. Part 2 will have to wait until tomorrow, I need some rest!
