Part one ended in Victoria Park, from there we made our way to Independence Square. It was a short stop highlighted by a bride & groom getting post wedding photos… just lovely! Then we made our way to the Galle Face Hotel for a refreshment break. Then we made stops along Galle Face Green to take photos of the Secretariat Building and some really cool storks hanging out on this section of Beira Lake…. Very cool. Then it was all about the Manning Markets…. This place is so alive it is unbelievable, just constant hustle and bustle. I told my friends to be constantly aware of their surroundings because you can get knocked over pretty easy. This is my favorite place in all Colombo, seeing the people hard at work in their everyday lives sans tourists (except us, of course). Love the Manning Market! Part 2 of 3 leaves us still in the markets as we continue to part 3….
