Oosterdam European Adventure, Naples, Italy...

I was up very early to take sail in photos of Naples... It’s always a beautiful sight!  We were picked up at the cruise terminal by our driver and headed to the Amalfi Coast. We made one photo stop on our way to Positano. We left the car in the main square and walked down through town to the beach. It was very crowded…the peak tourist season has started in Europe. After making our way back to the main square we left for Sorrento. Once in Sorrento, the driver dropped us at a small park overlooking the coastline. We walked through the historic old town and met our driver in the main square…Sorrento is a charming resort town. Leaving the Amalfi Coast we went to Pompeii. Pompeii is one of Italy’s most visited and iconic sites. We toured the highlights of this incredibly well-preserved Roman town once buried deep under ash and rocks during the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D. Another good day of touring Italy…
