We had a wonderful day sailing through the beautiful Antarctic….. The morning was very foggy but around 9:00 we sailed between Elephant Island & Clarence Island and the fog lifted a bit. The morning was filed with periods of dense fog but in the afternoon it cleared pretty well. The day generally was very overcast and cold…. The winds on the forward decks were quite fierce at times. I am amazed that I actually stayed out there for hours. I also couldn’t believe that I took between 1500 and 1600 photos, my finger will be sore tomorrow. It is so beautiful here….. I also loved seeing numerous whales, penguins, sea lions etc. The thousands of penguins at the Argentina Research Station were something to behold. I hope tomorrow’s weather will hold so that we can have another beautiful scenic sail through the Antarctic….
