Today was an extremely busy day….. The morning started out with a walk with Ed & Becky around the upper deck. Then it was poolside for the better part of the day. Late in the afternoon I took a walk around deck 3 for a few miles before getting ready for the evening festivities. Tonight was our first formal night for the Grand World Voyage. It was a grand evening…. There was a cocktail party in the Queen’s lounge with introduction of the staff by Captain Mercer and a toast. It was a very nice event. Then it was off to a fabulous dinner. First of all, we had Renee, the Spa Manager as a hostess for our table. The food was great, complimented by fabulous conversation and laughter with friends…. Having Renee at the table was such a bonus! Then it was off to the show. The performer was Melissa Manchester and she was amazing…. She sang some of her big hits from the past along with a number of new selections. She put on a great show! Tomorrow we arrive in our first port of call, Dominica…
