Colorado Roadtrip Day 13

We left Idaho Falls fairly early this morning heading for the Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming.  We had a nice scenic drive along the way, as usual....  We arrived first into the town of Jackson which has grown a great deal since I was here 25 years ago.  The park was just as spectacular as I remembered it from before.  We made many stops along the way and even took the boat across Jenny Lake to see Hidden Falls and hike to Inspiration Point.  Any way you turn here you are shadowed by the magnificence of the Tetons.... just amazing.  Tomorrow we may come back to the park as we make our way to Rock Springs...

  2. Go downtown in Rock Springs. There is an interesting small park area concerning the history of the coal mines and the Union Pacific. Drive the inner loop road in the Teton park, moose junction etc. for the best views of Moran and Grand Teton. There is a dam at jackson lake that offers good views.
