Volendam 2026,Halifax, Nova Scotia...

As predicted, the weather was less than optimal today… I went out to take photos as we sailed into Halifax and it was rainy and very gloomy.  My decision was made quite early to stay onboard and forgo the elements, especially since we had to tender.  It just wasn’t worth the effort.  Later in the afternoon, the drizzle seemed to go away and the photo opportunities as we sailed away were much better.  I am really loving being here on the Volendam, I doubt if the euphoria will fade.  Everything here is just wonderful!!!  This promises to be my voyage of a lifetime…  Tomorrow will be exciting, we are in Sydney, Cape Breton Nova Scotia and I will be getting together with my friend Laura…
