Zuiderdam Viking Adventure, Nuuk Fjord Scenic Cruising, Greenland...

Today was very cold and foggy…we had no hope for scenic cruising in the land of my birth. Entering the Nuuk Fjord, the fog cleared and oh my goodness the scenery was simply stunning. We passed Nuuk, the capital of Greenland and sailed up the fjord for 25 nautical miles. We will return to Nuuk after midnight to dock. The fjord landscape was beautiful, surrounded by majestic mountains and countless reflection shots. My prayers were answered, no rain. Looking forward to what tomorrow brings on our 6-hour boat ride up to the Narsap Sermia glacier... I pray that the weather forecast improves greatly…. Right now, it is forecast to be very cold, very windy and rain all day…. The scenery in Greenland is just magnificent, rugged beauty everywhere you look....
