Our last visit to Curacao on this
voyage…. It has been a great time
visiting Aart & Ellen every 10 or 11 days.
It became the highlight of each voyage.
It seems so appropriate that they are sailing with us on this last
stop. Ann & I went to the house with
Aart while Ellen and Cathy had planned to go to the Rotterdam Film
Festival. I walked to the house, taking
photos along the way. I have always enjoyed
walking through the Pietermaai area with some many grand houses of the past,
some beautifully restored and some in various states of decay. Just amazing!
It was a pretty hot day, even the iguanas needed to take a dip in the
swimming pool… There was a major change
in plans when Cathy had to visit a dentist to resolve a problem. In the evening, we had two guests for dinner
in the Pinnacle Grill, Lia van Gastel and Margriet Vink. It was another wonderful dinner followed by a
magnificent show by Island Magic. Nice
ending to a wonderful day!!!!
