This morning, I headed out to take the 7:30 am train into Adelaide with Cathy, Ann, Marianne & Marcel. We wanted to get into town early and visit the zoo and the Botanical Gardens. We arrived into Adelaide right on time and walked along North Terrace, admiring all the old stately buildings along the way. We arrived at the zoo a little early so we hung out at the coffee shop for a drink before heading into the zoo. The zoo in Adelaide is very nice with the Pandas being a major highlight. We spent about 3 hours there before heading off to the Botanical Gardens. Again, the gardens were very nice with the Lotus being a major highlight for me. We ended up taking the 2:12 train back to the port and headed back onboard. The visit to Adelaide was wonderful! Next stop, Albany, Australia…..
