It was a lovely day at sea with some disappointing news…. We will be skipping our next port, Yap Island, due to Typhoon Haiyan which is expected to get to a category 3 typhoon. It is disappointing because that will be the 3rd port which we have missed, Cebu, Okinawa and Yap, and it would have been a first time visit at each for me. As difficult it is for me to find new ports missing 3 is huge. Can’t help the weather but it doesn’t mean I won’t be disappointed. We will now have 6 days at sea as we make our way to Rabaul, Papua New Guinea. Anyway, the day was lovely… The scenery as we sail thought the islands of the Philippines was beautiful. Formal night tonight was nice, dinner was great…. Better rest up now and prepare for the next 5 days lounging around the pool.
